Warning, the fallacy of Unlimited Calling Services Using POTS Lines from Verizon, Cable and other carriers.

How Unlimited calling plans from Verizon,  Cable and other carriers  guarantee almost eliminating modern voice/data systems productivity features.

Historical Prices for Telephone Calls
Controlling telephone line cost has been an American sport.  During the 1980's a $.35/ minute call was the mode; telephone costs were the second or third highest expense for most companies. in the 1990's,  this cost was reduced to roughly $.08/minute or 78% less.

The Carriers entice buyers with extremely low prices by comparing the customer's current overprice plans.  Most plans can be reduced by asking for a price reduction plan from the powerful T-1 line that has been reduced in cost by more than 75% over the past five years.
Considering many firms still pay the $.049-$.08/minute rate while the unlimited calling plans by Verizon, Cable and other carriers is an attractive cost cutter. These prospect firms are targets for the unlimited calling plans with their inflexible POTS line offerings.

Recap
Thus, telephone costs reduction plans especially by Cable is an obsession today.  In reality, today Novacom customers' costs for calling range from a low of $.01/minute to $.029/minute or the 90% reduction making the inflexible POTS offerings not needed.
Further,  Email has reduced the reliance on telephone calls  and the need to reduce costs on high calling cost. Note,  cost  with Novacom's carrier partners are often 70% lower than current costs by using Email and the Novacom drastic cutting of calling costs plans.

How the Unlimited Calling Plans almost eliminate productivity
The Novacom T-1 line is engineered to have combination of:
lines, called speech channels in the T-1,;
To afford: many people on a call (up to 64) in a single conference;
Call that allow real time communication by many people at the same time with recording;
Linking of cell telephones to staff member's desk telephones; the cell telephones becomes an
extension.
The plain telephone lines associated with unlimited calling plans do not allow these important features. The use of direct calling in the Novacom PBX is eliminated not allowing direct calls to individuals and departments.
Selecting the type of telephone and data lines services is based upon your unique needs and type  of telephone services needed. When it is about lines, line selection must be base on the best means to communicate and not price. Today Cable and Verizon engage in a battle to downgrade telephone resources and make price the solve criterion.
